What do the members of the Special Events Committee do?
Develop opportunities for fundraising activities
Organize support for fundraising activities including recruiting volunteers and arranging publicity
Coordinating fundraising activities with Blessing House board and staff

Who, What, When, Where
Who:Anyone who has skills in the following areas:
Likes to engage others in fun activities
Has the organizational skills necessary to initiate and carry through an event
Has awareness of the types of activities that are available
Has an understanding of the nature of our mission and events that appropriately support that mission
What: Committee members will be asked to assist Blessing House staff or other Blessing House committees with special projects on an as needed basis. This will include support of special events, including the annual fundraiser, Rock-a-Bye Ball.
The Special Events Committee will also work with the Blessing House staff to develop materials to promote events.
When: The Committee Members meet as necessary to plan events and coordinate activities. Much of the planning takes place through email and phone calls.
Where: Committee meetings are held at an accessible location based on availability.
